Plateau

My weight has been hovering around 208 for a week now so I talked to the trainer at the gym to see what's up...
okay he wasn't really a "trainer" per se, some might call him "the guy behind the counter who scans your gym membership card" but whatever. HE said I need to change up my routine. Which is exactly what Joetta and Richard told me today. I got some good ideas from my trainer guy too.

work out different muscles in a different way, move from the machines to free weights for example.

So... I gotta join those free aerobic classes. I have to start doing weight training in a different motions, and maybe eat something different than tropical fruits and leafy green love.

I hate the beach but I love beach fruit

I've been going to the grocery store every other day because I keep eating mounds of fruits and veggie! yum! I buy pineapple and papaya every time BUT
pineapple = $6
Papaya = $6

$12 just on some tropical fruits

I'm trying cheaper fruits now
7 plums = $1.45
bag of grapes = $1.13

we'll see how they pan out like a forty niner in the river trying to sift away some fat.

Die A Bêtes

I sometimes imagine a character chasing after me when I jog. His name is Die A Bêtes and he cuts off legs and limbs.
This stat released today by the CDC:

http://diabetes.webmd.com/news/20080624/nearly-24-million-have-diabetes

I currently eat a diabetes menu so I can eat pizza when I'm 60

The worst part about diabetes, besides cutting of limbs? "Do not drink more than two drinks of alcohol in a one-day period."

FUCK YOU DIABETES. I'm not dying early and I'm fucking drinking.

Brainstimulation

Courtney said trying different things is good for the brain. Like eating with the wrong hand.

Eating with the wrong hand is also good for eating slow!

I'm down to 217.

14 pound loss in two weeks.

weight drop

I lost 11 pounds in the first week. which is good. This week so far it's only been 1.5 pounds. The eating habits and exercise routine has gotten slightly more rigorous. It's probably water weight from the cells that I lost initially, and on top of that I am probably gaining muscle mass. So things should slow down and pick back up again in a couple of weeks.

It's almost like the initial loss was an initiation to REALLY lose the Fatness. At 2 pound loss of fat per week...

End of June - 212
End of July - 206
End of August - 200
End of September - 194
End of October - 188
End of November - 182
End of December - 176

It's a long term committment but I can't just lose 28 years of fat without some effort!
